Eastlink: Proudly Atlantic Canadian

Eastlink's roots trace back over six generations to the Bragg family's wild blueberry fields in rural Nova Scotia. Not long after opening their first processing plant in the late 60s, the Braggs had a bold idea—why not apply for a cable license to bring cable TV to the town of Amherst? That decision would plant the seeds for what would become one of Atlantic Canada’s and indeed the country’s most successful family owned and operated telecommunications businesses.

Despite its growth from humble, rural beginnings to serving communities, big and small, from coast to coast, Eastlink has never forgotten its Atlantic Canadian roots. The company’s signature ‘blueberry blue’ branding— a rich, vibrant colour - pays homage to where it all began.

Eastlink’s passion for community extends to the local stories, events and experiences showcased on its Community TV channel and has been key to its transformation into a leading provider of internet, Wi-Fi, TV, mobile, smart home solutions and data services to Canadian consumers and businesses from Happy Valley Goose Bay to the gentle Island to the Sunshine Coast
